About this session

An organizational AI policy can establish important boundaries, but it rarely answers every question employees encounter during a normal working day. Can AI summarize this internal document?

Can it draft a customer email? Should a colleague be told that AI prepared the first version?

Can a useful prompt be shared across the team? When does an employee need approval before trying a new AI-assisted approach?

Without shared norms, employees create their own answers. One person may avoid AI completely.

Another may use it for almost everything. A third may review every output carefully while somebody else assumes an approved tool makes every output safe to use.

The result is inconsistency, uncertainty and unnecessary risk.

This session helps teams create a practical working agreement beneath the organization's formal policy. Participants examine the real AI use cases appearing in their work, identify where assumptions differ and agree what good practice should look like.

They establish expectations around approved tools, information, human review, transparency, accountability, experimentation and escalation.

The final agreement is deliberately practical. It should help somebody decide what to do during real work rather than becoming another policy document nobody reads.

Participants test the agreement against realistic scenarios, identify where organizational clarification is still needed and establish a review rhythm so the agreement can evolve as tools, policies and work practices change.
