About this session
A hospitality team’s physical demands shift with occupancy and the shift: room turnaround, kitchen standing, luggage runs, tray service, laundry loads, and recovery under guest pace.
This multi-session program develops practical capacity for those changing exposures rather than teaching one supposedly perfect lifting technique.
Participants rehearse optional task-specific warm-ups, progressive strength work, carrying and cart strategies, and between-shift recovery.
Teams also use brief service-learning conversations to flag fatigue, coordinate across departments, and identify when sequencing, access, carts, or staffing should change.
The package connects worker preparation with organizational controls, because fitness cannot compensate for an unmanageable load or poorly planned route.
It suits mixed departments and occupancy waves, with progressions adapted to roles, experience, symptoms, and available equipment.
