About this session

The Workplace Walking Group is a facilitated movement experience designed to help employees become more active during the working day without requiring specialist equipment, gym access or a high level of fitness.

Employees walk together at a comfortable pace while the facilitator introduces practical ways to build more movement into ordinary routines.

Depending on the selected format, the experience may include route familiarization, gentle mobility preparation, pace options, walk leadership, habit planning and a structured program for sustaining participation.

The program is suitable for office teams, hybrid workforces, campuses and operational workplaces with an appropriate walking route. It can be delivered outdoors, indoors or through a combination of both depending on the environment, weather and accessibility requirements.

This is not a competitive fitness challenge unless the employer specifically chooses to add optional tracking or team goals. The core experience is based on inclusive participation, social connection and creating a repeatable workplace movement habit.
