Harassment-prevention duties (CIPA+A) still apply in full

Takes effect November 2026 to April 2027By WorkblissUpdated October 19, 2026

What’s happening

Law 14,457/2022 renamed the CIPA safety committee to cover harassment and requires every company that must have one to publish anti-harassment rules, run a complaint channel that protects the complainant's anonymity, investigate and sanction, and train staff at all levels on harassment, violence, equality and diversity at least every 12 months. These duties are separate from the paused NR-1 fines, and harassment is also one of the psychosocial risks NR-1 expects employers to manage.

What to do

Confirm this year's training is booked, test your complaint channel, and feed harassment data into your NR-1 psychosocial risk plan.

How Workbliss can help

Workbliss can add psychological safety and respectful-workplace sessions, plus manager training, to your prevention plan.
