Mandatory payrolling of company cars and medical benefits
What’s happening
Employers must report income tax and Class 1A National Insurance in real time through payroll for company cars, car fuel, vans, van fuel and employer-provided medical benefits such as private medical insurance; loans and accommodation stay voluntary.
What to do
Work with payroll and your health benefit providers now so medical benefit values flow into payroll and employees understand the change on their payslips.
