Nearly 1 in 3 low-paid workers have no savings

In a Living Wage Foundation survey of 2,000+ UK workers paid below the real Living Wage, 31% had no savings (up from 24% in 2025), only 10% could cover an unexpected £200 bill from income, and 81% struggle with some or all bills.
