About this session

Funny usually starts with noticing something everyone else walked past.

In this hands-on workshop, participants turn everyday observations into original comedy using simple tools such as premise, setup, misdirection, specificity, exaggeration and the rule of three.

They write short pieces, try different punchlines and see how rewriting sharpens an idea. Nobody has to perform stand-up, and sharing is always optional. Material stays original and workplace-appropriate.

What your people take away

  • Build premises from everyday observations
  • Practice setup, misdirection and punchlines
  • Rewrite material to make it sharper
