About this session

Start with a blank page. Leave with something that did not exist an hour ago.

Creative Writing is a hands-on session where participants turn observations, images, characters and unexpected prompts into original stories and scenes.

The facilitator introduces a few practical tools, such as specificity, point of view and sensory detail, and everyone uses them straight away. Sharing is always optional.

What your people take away

  • Generate story ideas quickly from prompts and observations
  • Write in focused bursts and experiment freely
  • Try point of view, character and sensory detail
  • Revise your piece with simple, practical techniques
