About this session
Moving from weekly to every two weeks, twice-monthly, monthly or another regular pay schedule can make familiar finances suddenly feel unfamiliar, even when overall earnings have not changed.
Housing costs, childcare, utilities, transportation and subscriptions do not automatically move just because payroll does.
This session helps participants make the change visible before trying to solve it. They map the old and new pay calendars, identify where bills now fall in relation to payday and work out what needs to be reserved from each payment.
They then prepare for any awkward transition period and rebuild the routines, payment dates and set-asides that will support the new rhythm.
Participants leave with an actual pay-schedule transition plan rather than generic budgeting advice. Personal salary, debt, savings and account balances do not need to be shared.
