WGEA gender equality reporting window opens
What’s happening
Employers with 100 or more employees must lodge their annual gender equality data with the Workplace Gender Equality Agency between April 1 and May 31. Employers with 500 or more staff picked three gender equality targets in the 2026 cycle and cannot change them. WGEA's March 2026 release put the national employer pay gap midpoint at 11.2%.
What to do
Start pulling payroll, leave and policy data in February, and check progress against any targets you set in 2026.
