Next pay transparency report must be published
What’s happening
Under the Equal Pay Law (Law 14,611/2023) and Decree 11,795/2023, employers with 100 or more employees must update data on the Emprega Brasil portal and publish their government-generated pay transparency report on their website or social channels every March and September (in 2026 the March deadline slipped to April 6 because of technical problems). The latest national report (April 2026) found women earn 21.3% less than men on average; fines can reach 3% of payroll, capped at 100 minimum wages.
What to do
Calendar the early-2027 data update, review your last two reports for gaps, and have an action plan ready, since companies flagged by inspectors get 90 days to produce one.
