About this session

Heart health changes across adulthood, but age is only one part of the picture. Everyday habits, working patterns, medical history, hormones, sleep, stress and access to preventive care can all influence cardiovascular health over time.

In this practical session, participants explore how the heart and circulation may change with age, identify realistic ways to support cardiovascular fitness and discuss the health checks and warning signs worth understanding.

The facilitator keeps the focus on prevention, confidence and sustainable habits rather than fear, extreme exercise or restrictive diets.

This session provides general cardiovascular-health education and practical prevention guidance. It does not diagnose heart disease, interpret individual test results, prescribe medication or replace medical assessment.

Participants experiencing new, severe or concerning symptoms should seek appropriate medical care.
