About this session
Workplace CPR Certification is designed for employees who need more than general awareness or informal practice.
Participants learn how to recognize cardiac arrest, activate emergency services, perform high-quality CPR, use an automated external defibrillator and respond to choking emergencies.
Unlike Hands-Only CPR Training, this experience includes a defined curriculum, individual skills assessment and an official course-completion credential.
Certification can be delivered through an approved American Heart Association, American Red Cross or equivalent recognized training pathway, depending on the employer's requirements and the authorized provider available in the delivery location.
The recommended Workbliss format uses blended learning. Participants complete the certifying organization's online theory component before the workplace visit, then attend a two-hour instructor-led practical skills and assessment session.
The exact duration may change according to the certifying body, course scope, participant numbers and demonstrated competence.
Certification is awarded only when each participant completes the required learning and successfully demonstrates the specified skills. Attendance alone must never be presented as certification.
