Free annual health check-ups for workers aged 40 and over
What’s happening
The OSH Code requires free annual health exams for prescribed groups; the central rules apply this to employees aged 40 and over in dock work, mines and building or construction work (ESIC facilities may be used), while state rules, still in draft in key states, will decide coverage for factories and other workplaces.
What to do
Map which sites and contractors are covered, line up screening vendors, and keep results confidential given the coming DPDP duties.
