EU Quality Jobs Act proposal expected (AI at work, telework, health and safety)
What’s happening
After a second consultation of employer and union bodies (July 20 to Sept. 28, 2026), the Commission plans to propose an EU law covering algorithmic management and AI at work, health and safety (including telework risks), workers' rights in subcontracting chains, and enforcement. The right to disconnect was part of the first-stage consultation.
What to do
Review your rules on telework, after-hours contact and AI-based monitoring now, so you can respond quickly when the proposal is published.
