About this session
A host leads the team through the year it has just had, in an hour: the highlights and the hard parts laid out on a shared timeline, a round of thanks where people recognize each other by name for something specific, and a closing where each person sets one personal intention and the team sets one together for the year ahead. It is a celebration with a little structure, not a review meeting: nobody presents, nobody is scored, and the host keeps it warm and moving. It suits a team of six to thirty, in the last weeks of the year.
In person it needs a room with a wall for the timeline, sticky notes and markers, and drinks; Workbliss brings the host and the materials, and the client provides the room and the drinks. Online, the timeline lives on a shared board, the thanks round happens on camera, and intentions go into a shared document. The host talks to the manager beforehand to learn the year’s real events and anyone who has left or joined, so nothing lands wrong. Nothing from the hour goes into a performance review, and what people say about the hard parts stays in the room.
