Netherlands: ABP, the largest pension fund, moves to the new pension system
What’s happening
The central bank (DNB) approved ABP's move of about 3.2 million participants into the new contribution-based system under the Future of Pensions Act. All pension schemes must switch by Jan. 1, 2028.
